Your Privacy Matters
My professional commitment to upholding client confidentiality and ethical standards aligns with principles established by leading professional associations.
I do not solicit client testimonials, nor do I share or publish reviews or feedback, as it is imperative to protect my clients privacy and safeguard the sensitive information disclosed during our sessions. Maintaining the integrity of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to me, enabling clients who attend therapy to do so without the fear of judgement, identification, or exposure. This policy prevents the emergence of potentially detrimental dual relationships and ensures for instance, that clients retain the option to return to therapy whenever necessary; and also protects clients from the commodification and monetisation of our relationship for advertising purposes.
In terms of social media engagement, I do not accept personal connection requests from clients to mitigate risks of exposing details from my personal life, which may prove unhelpful to their therapeutic process, and vice versa clients feeling fully secure to share whatever they wish within therapy; whilst retaining their privacy outside of this. Clients may choose to follow 0115 therapy social's or leave a google review, however these will not be responded to and clients must remain aware of the implications of inadvertently compromising their confidentiality; or exposing themselves to potentially unhelpful content.
It is always heartwarming for me to receive feedback from clients and I truly appreciate hearing their experiences of therapy, but protecting client autonomy which fosters trust is critical for effective recovery and healing to take place.
