About Me
I made the decision to pursue Humanistic Counselling and Integrative Psychotherapy training, to provide tailored and holistic treatment that addresses the unique challenges faced by individuals.
My interests in science, music and nature have shaped my life, I studied Microbiology and subsequently worked in the underground music industry. I have 20 years experience working in charity, NHS and private sectors including working with vulnerable people from complex backgrounds i.e. young people, homeless families, and survivors of domestic abuse.
I qualified as a professional therapist in 2016 and am accreditated member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have gained valuable experience within NHS Primary Care Talking Therapies working as a Counsellor for the past 10 years; and have undertaken further training in Experiential Counselling for Depression. Contributions have extended to counselling support for BUPA Macmillan and Women’s Aid.
My therapeutic approach is Relational & Integrative with a particular emphasis on complex trauma treatment. I remain committed to continuous professional development in trauma interventions and spiritual psychotherapy. Additionally, I maintain a profound interest in end-of-life transitions and the importance of dying well.
