Integrative Psychotherapy
I provide a comprehensive therapeutic service grounded in various evidence-based modalities and mind-body therapies, designed to empower individuals in effectively managing their challenges with compassion and understanding.
My expertise encompasses working in an emotion-focused way with different aspects of self, enabling clients to explore and integrate various parts of their identity, which promotes self-acceptance and improves their internal dialogue. Mind-body interventions focus on the physical sensations that accompany emotional experiences, fostering a greater awareness of how the body responds to emotional states, thereby facilitating deeper healing. Additionally, I offer tailored resources that equip you with the necessary tools and strategies to cultivate internal resilience.
Recognising that every individual’s journey is unique and deeply personal, I aim to establish a supportive and nurturing relationship, empowering you to move towards enhanced emotional well-being and personal growth.
'Buried trauma doesn’t go away, it remains and continues to grow, until it surfaces in unexpected and disproportionate ways.” Judith Zackson

- Physical symptoms like headaches, nausea, and chest pain
By addressing both the emotional and physical manifestations of trauma, integrative trauma reprocessing enables clients to reframe their narratives, reduce distressing symptoms, and restore a sense of agency in their lives.
Emotion-Focused / Experiential
Emotion-focused therapy (EFT) is an attachment based holistic therapy which emphasises the importance of emotional awareness, expression & the therapuetic relationship. Individuals are encouraged to explore and articulate their feelings, enabling them to gain insight into their emotional experiences which can lead to improved emotional regulation and enhanced interpersonal relationships.
EFT therapy can be particularly useful working with internal conflict splits, unfinished business, problematic reactions, an unclear or fuzzy sense of experiencing or emotional stuckness. EFT interventions may involve focussing, meaning creation, finishing off 'business' or two-chair work. EFT is often utilised to address a range of issues, including depression, anxiety and trauma.
EFT can help you:
- Build emotional literacy
- Address underlying wounds or trauma
- Understand and find catharsis
- Experience an emotional release that's crucial to your healing
- Validate for your feelings
- Increase self-awareness
- Increase your sense of agency
- Find inner peace
EFT therapy might be a good fit if you:
- Need help learning to be comfortable with vulnerability and connection
- Want a safe space to explore emotional blocks and defense mechanisms
- Are looking to explore your inner world on a deeper level
- Are interested in holistic healing
Parts work
Based on the idea that you have many parts of yourself. They can be playful, strong, wounded, or protective. When you experience a trauma, certain parts will carry the pain while others work to shield you from it to survive.
This form of trauma-focused therapy teaches you how to relate to all parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion without judgment. It can help you deal with conflicting emotions and resolve internal conflict that stems from trauma. It can be especially powerful if you've undergone complex trauma or have developed a strong inner critic.
IFS can help you:
- Understand the different parts of yourself
- Start to harmonize each of the parts so they work together in positive and healthy ways
- Resolve shame
- Reduce self-criticism
- Become more compassionate for the wounded parts of yourself
IFS therapy might be a good fit if you:
- Deal with harsh self-judgment
- Often feel conflicted about your emotions and feelings
- Are looking to explore your defense mechanisms
- Are curious about parts work
- Are interested in working creatively
Safety & Stabalisation
Safety and stabilisation are fundamental components that create a supportive environment for healing and personal growth. Establishing a sense of safety allows clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement or retribution.
Stabilisation techniques, such as grounding exercises and mindfulness practices, help individuals manage emotional distress and remain present during and outside of therapy sessions.
